Brown sugar, Cinnamon Chiffon Cake 红糖肉桂戚风蛋糕

My friend introduced to me this new flavour of chiffon cake. If you like anything with cinnamon , then you will like this chiffon cake. Even brown sugar is used, but i still come out with this recipe which is less sweet. I was so happy found these edible flowers, so quickly bake this cake and decorated with these flowers, look lovely !

Nasi Lemak Birthday Cake 椰浆饭生日蛋糕

My son Lucas now can take over my place as Nasi Lemak Lover, Lolz ^_^. He is now eating more nasi lemak than me. He is a junior of Nasi Lemak Lover. So for his Birthday, I made a Nasi Lemak Birthday Cake for him as i have wanted to make this cake long ago. Finally I made it , and it seem easy than making a real Birthday cake, hahaha..

Crab meat and Tofu soup 蟹肉豆腐羹

I have so long didn't cook this tofu soup  (way back in 2008 !!) which is thicker type of soup , Chinese called 羹 . The taste is similar like shark's fin soup, best to enjoy with black vinegar.

Golden Salted Egg Yolk Cornflakes 黄金鹹蛋黄玉米片

Salted egg yolk, butter,  curry leaves and chili padi are perfect combo. Any recipe won't go wrong when using these ingredients.  When i saw my friend made this, what a brilliant idea, combine all these ingredients with cornflakes. These cornflakes are so addictive , crunchy, salty, sweet, curry aroma and a hint of spicy, so good !

Sweet and Spicy Prawns 嘻哈大笑 (干煎虾碌)

This prawn dish is sticky and fragrant, one can't help licking the sticky and yummy sauce coated on the prawn. And this prawn dish also a common dish that very often served during Chinese New Year as in Cantonese, the word for prawn is Ha (虾); or in Mandarin, it sounds like 哈, which means laughter and happy, Hi Ha Tai Siew .

Sweet and Sour Pig Maw 酸甜猪肚

Hi all, sorry for not updating my blog for almost 2 months. Just realized that my blog also celebrate 10th years anniversary this year. After 10 years , time for me to slow down . I still cooking and baking, mostly bake sourdough , my new favourite ^_^. I still trying out new dishes and new cakes sometime. Like this simple sweet and sour pig maw, a dish that was inspired from a restaurant located at Klang.
